Development and Growth Management

The need for training activities emerged in 1963, when the Technical Supervision Department took the initiative to design and implement training courses. In parallel with the development of the Ministry of Education, a series of organizational decisions were gradually issued to keep pace with the expansion of the training process.

In 1974, Al-Sharqiya School was designated as a training center affiliated with the Planning and Training Department. Then in 1979, Decision No. 7/3761 was issued to reorganize the center, and it continued to operate under that structure until 1989, when it was assigned the responsibilities of scholarships, leaves, and grants.

In 1990, it was transformed into the Manpower Development Department, and later in 1993, the Development and Growth Department was established to oversee training programs and human resource development, in continuous alignment with the vision of the Ministry of Education.
